Résumé:This research project called "THE PRINCIPLES OF CONSTITUTIONAL SUPREMACY IN JUDGMENTS NO.11-18CN/19 DELIVERED BY THE CONSTITUTIONAL COURT OF ECUADOR, CONCERNING THE EQUAL MARRIAGE." It bases its research line on Constitutional Guarantees. The principles of constitutional supremacy represent the backbone of the supreme regulations of the states. The constitutional supremacy in its spirit is made up of two tendencies, the first is a formality, that one grants force and enforceability of the norms. The second one is part of the rights guarantee systems, also called material, where there is the constitutionality block, control of conventionality, and constitutional control of state norms. Tendencies that are developed in the content of the sentences that will be analyzed in this research. The Constitutional Court of Ecuador is the highest institution of control, constitutional interpretation and administration of justice in this matter and as one of the attributions that by express mandate of the supreme norm has is to absolve consultations of the norm, in case that a judge considers that a legal precept is contrary to the Constitution or the International Human Rights Instruments. This research project will analyze a standard consultation that led to judgment No. 11-18-CN / 19 and No. 10-18-CN / 19 resolved by the Constitutional Court in 2019. The research seeks, as a result, to know which of the sentences issued by the Constitutional judges is adapted to the principles of Constitutional Supremacy that articles 424-428 of the Ecuadorian Constitution.
