Factores Socioeconómicos y Desarrollo Turístico del Cantón Guano, Provincia de Chimborazo.

The research focuses on socioeconomic factors and tourism development in the Guano canton, Chimborazo province, where tourism is today one of the primary sources of income for the national and international economy, generating new jobs and thus activating their economies. Providing experiences and services through tourist attractions and the facilities they provide to access them, but this can be affected due to little information or interest in how to properly manage the conservation of natural and heritage attractions that have history, and they reveal a little more about our culture and that they are of great importance for the development of tourist activity as such. However, this can be affected by the need for more interest in the subject on the part of those involved and of the authorities who could publicize and inform the site so that tourists who want to visit can understand and access them more easily. Several attractions of natural wealth need to be used through adequate dissemination; there is no tourism development, so activities cannot be carried out properly due to a lack of information, generating disinterest in those who want to visit them. it was concluded that is essential to consider the diversification offered by the tourist infrastructure of the Guano canton to increase the entry capacity of tourists and, on the other hand, provide more service options in the tourist framework; Likewise, the promotion can encourage foreign investment and finally strengthen control over the internal security of the country. Though the results obtained from the surveys carried out, the respective hypothesis test was applied, concluding that there is no relationship between socioeconomic factors and the tourist development of the Guano canton, which is why some management strategies were analyzed and which design was chosen.
