Přidat tag | Shrnutí: | The research proposes an urban intervention along the commercial axis of Avenida 17 de Abril in the city center of Quero, Tungurahua, Ecuador. The study identifies a progressive urban growth process marked by functional disorder, informal commerce, and the deterioration of public spaces, which negatively impact mobility, the urban image, and residents’ quality of life. Through a comprehensive urban diagnosis, including physical, social, and environmental analyses; the investigation evaluates the spatial structure, land use, and public perception of urban quality. The results reveal critical deficits in public space design, green area distribution, and recreational infrastructure. Based on these findings, the project formulates a Master Plan structured around holistic strategies that integrate mobility, commerce, the environment, culture, recreation, and heritage conservation. The proposal aims to reorganize the urban fabric through new pedestrian routes, green corridors, and the revitalization of underused areas, promoting an inclusive and sustainable city model. This plan strengthens Quero’s productive and commercial identity while fostering social interaction and environmental balance, contributing to the equitable and functional transformation of its urban core. |
