Another objective is to present a feasible methodology using the Nonlinear Static Analysis "Pushover", in conjunction with the approximate method unified of structural evaluation, as a tool that allows us to identify the “weak” areas of a structure, which will lead us to take the appropriate corrective action . |

Another objective is to present a feasible methodology using the Nonlinear Static Analysis "Pushover", in conjunction with the approximate method unified of structural evaluation, as a tool that allows us to identify the “weak” areas of a structure, which will lead us to take the appropriate corrective action .El presente trabajo está enfocado en la determinación de la vulnerabilidad estructural de viviendas de hormigón armado mediante la aplicación del Método aproximado unificado de evaluación estructural y de un Análisis Estático No Lineal “Pushover” que nos presenta el ATC-40 y FEMA-356 para validar dicha metodología, utilizado conjuntamente con la demanda sísmica establecida por la Norma Ecuatoriana de la Construcción (NEC-11), para así obtener y evaluar el nivel de daño producido en la edificación y obtener un índice de vulnerabilidad que tendría la edificación frente a un evento sísmico.
