Oferta y desarrollo turístico en la ciudad de Riobamba

The objective is to analyze the tourist offer and its influence on the tourist development in Riobamba, Chimborazo province. It focuses on tourism service providers who request an important part for the current analysis of the tourism offer. The field research analyzes the situation of the tourist offer and how it has become unsuitable for the tourist development of Riobamba. It was developed through the application of an exploratory, descriptive and explanatory research, with a non-experimental research design that includes through the survey applied to 383 residents and 60 providers of tourist services in Riobamba. Depending on the results obtained, it proposes an idea that solves the problems found by means of the hypothesis testing carried out in the IBM Statistics 25 statistical program. Finally, the results allowed to demonstrate the significant influence of the tourist offer and its dimensions within the tourist development of Riobamba. It led us to the conclusion to develop a proposal that improves and solves the performance of tourism service providers through a training plan for tourist service providers in Riobamba.
