| Samenvatting: | Considering that using a software for education and science is important for the improvement of the learning process since it makes it meaningfully, dynamic and interactive by creating a comfortable environment for teachers and students, it was necessary to carry out this research project with the objective to use the Modellus simulator to help students of grade 11th of the “Galapagos” School learn the unit about translational dynamics. This project was carried out at the Columbe County, Colta Canton, and Chimborazo Province during the school year 2015- 2016. Research was correlational type because relation between variables was measured. The design was quasi-experimental because subjects for the experimental and control groups were not chosen at random. The methods used were hypothetic and deductive. The techniques used were observation and survey which helped to select data related to the problem. The sample consisted of 52 students of grade 11th of Galapagos School. The sample type was no probabilistic since 18 students of grade 11th were selected. As conclusion the software Modellus 4.01 was the plus student had in that unit because of the opportunity to use technology through virtual classrooms during physics practices. Classes became very fun, encouraging and dynamic which produced good learning. As conclusion it is said that the application of Modellus educational software improved meaningfully students’ physics learning related to transactional dynamics |
