Zusammenfassung:Cardiovascular disease today is a global health problem due to its capcity to increase morbidity and mortality, In our country it is considere done of the most frequent pathologies, This investigation intends to focus on the reality of the risk of the factors through the gathering of lipid profile information, in patients treated at the Hospital Andino de Riobamba May 2017 and June 2018. With a descriptive, retrospective, non experimental study, with several phases, the data center was first obtained by gender, consecutively a statistical analysis in Excel software, classifying the data into 5 parameters with their own characteristics that correlate the risk factors through the verification of reference values. Of 1221 reports, total cholesterol> 240 mg / dl or high, in women as in men an equilibrium was shown with a total of 14%; HDL cholesterol <39 mg / dl or risk zone, in women 14% and men with 11% these results represent 25% of the total population; triglycerides> 240 mg / dl in women 12% and in men 9% responding to 21% of the universe under study and finally LDL cholesterol> 160mg / dl women 8% and men 7% corresponding to 15% of the population, with these results it is conclude that the feminine gender prevails over the man and the enclosure of 25% of the population in general has a type of alteration with cardiovascular risk.
