Sumario:Nowadays, the analysis and models of social networks have been implemented in several organizations, and construction projects are not the exception, this research aims to manage the flow of information in the construction projects of the public sector and adapt them to a hydraulic model. Currently, there are models that simulate the flow of information in the connections in a map of the social network, but these programs are not familiar with them. Giving a limited audience, and that generates difficulties in decision making and organizational improvement. To solve this problem, this research is based on providing an easy-to-use tool to model the flow of information adapting it to a hydraulic network. To achieve this, polls were used with the road construction personnel of the public sector being studied, and later analyzing this using the social network modeling program called Gephi, obtaining working networks, communication channels, frequency of communication and trust, to then give parameters in a program of hydraulic system modeling called Epanet. Obtaining as a result, a social network model adapted to a hydraulic system. This way you can identify the flow and quality of the information circulating between connections in a simple and familiar way for civil engineers. The present work is aimed at those in charge of construction projects, since it is up to them to realize that it is about the analysis of social networks and implementing them in their companies, promoting the good flow of information that is key for the projects and success of the company.
