要約:The objective of this research is to demonstrate the implementation of the service assurance technique used by Data Center called "High availability" using Microsoft's Hyper-V technology in a virtual environment as a feasible option to apply in virtual business scenarios. Today, companies need solutions that allow them optimal use of their computer systems, reduce costs, and manages their information quickly and safely. Virtualization in computer systems is a technique supported by tools that meet the requirements capable of emulating a physical computer. This will allow the creation of a virtual Data Center type scenario, in which the High Availability technique will be implemented in the servers that constitute the virtual infrastructure. The most relevant points stated in this investigation are virtualization, virtual machines, virtual and physical data centers, service guarantee, services loss, high availability, Hyper-V and failover clusters and equipment necessary for their implementation. For the research project’s development, VMware Workstation version 16 Pro was used. VMware Workstation is a virtualization tool for equipment and operating systems. Using this not only reduces hardware maintenance costs, but also increases the productivity, efficiency, and agility of the IT department. It also guarantees safety in the work environment and optimizes the work of multiple machines and/or virtualized operating systems. To ensure the high availability of virtual appliances in a virtualized infrastructure, Microsoft's Hyper V implemented VM (virtual machine) replication technologies. Along with the use of failover clusters. It is likely that if one node in the cluster fails, another node can control the execution of the program. You can configure failover so it can do it automatically, which is the normal setting, or you can manually trigger it.
