Резюме:This research aimed to present the reality of the insertion in the urban classroom of students from rural areas with their weaknesses and strengths. The objective is to evaluate the impact of human mobility processes on the academic performance of third-year GBE students. The methodological design was based on a mixed approach, collecting data from teachers through a structured survey, whose numerical percentage results were interpreted from the human qualities present in the identified problem. Among the most notorious results, there is the fact that teachers have identified that the segment of students with a situation of human mobility presents difficulties in academic performance with emphasis on the areas of Language and Literature and Mathematics; these difficulties appear in the development of activities in class, in addition to making it difficult to insert into the new culture. Teachers recognize that students learn from their multiple intelligences, previous repertoire, and their own culture. The population investigated was the four teachers who were assigned to third grade. Keywords: Human Mobility, Internal Migration, Academic Performance, rural areas.
