Samenvatting:This study was conducted in the fourth, fifth, sixth and seventh year of basic education school "Pedro Ingavelez" The Core canton, Cañar Province, 2014-2015. For the implementation of this research involved all children to like teaching, for which execution was argued by its relevance to grant a special interest in the use of Tic for academic performance in the subject of language and Literature, in this sense an objective view of each of the science that involves each of the variables from its definition or concept to brief and thorough explanation of all its components and constituents in order to give the research paper presents a solid basis in relation to the theoretical aspects. The work is held in different educational trends and methodology in using methods as deductive and inductive, its design in terms of the types of study is descriptive, transversal. The observation guide contributed to the collection of information on the use of Tic and their influence on the academic performance of the subject of Language and Literature, concluding that requires taking special interest in the application or tics mainly teaching in schools one teacher where the teacher has to work with several years of basic education and the Tic to be more supportive of the teacher is the main means to achieve improved learning in such consider an alternative proposal for the use of new technologies is developed
