Adicionar Tag | Resumo: | The research conducted about the financial management of the Municipal canton Chunchi GAD during the period 2019-2020 focused in the analysis of its impact on the financial processes of the institution. The documentary review allowed identifying the problems in the municipality's financial management and the need to improve its processes to ensure its longterm economic sustainability. The research was carried out using a descriptive exploratory methodology applied to the field, which allowed the collection of relevant information and data for the analysis. The results obtained showed that, in general, the municipality's financial management is efficient and has managed to maintain a constant working capital, low total indebtedness and stable immediate liquidity. This indicates a good capacity to respond to financial emergencies. Based on the results obtained, financial management strategies and policies were proposed to improve efficiency in the management of the municipality's financial resources. It is suggested to implement financial analysis tools for decision making, improve coordination between the different areas of the municipality, update financial information in a timely manner, as well as continuously train and educate staff on financial matters. In conclusion, the research conducted about the financial management of the Municipal canton Chunchi GAD during the period 2019-2020 allowed identifying strengths and weaknesses in the management of the municipality's financial resources. Although there were opportunities for improvement, in general, the municipality's financial management is adequate. The implementation of the proposed strategies and policies will strengthen the municipality's financial management and ensure its long-term economic sustainability. |
