タグ追加 | 要約: | ABSTRACT: The objective of this investigation was to identify the dimensions and personality disorders associated with the syndrome of the caregiver of persons with intellectual disabilities, through bibliographic research with a quantitative approach, descriptive level, and a non-experimental cross-sectional design, in which a population of 679 documents was consulted through a literature review. Of which 41 were collected for the sample that met the selection criteria, these quantitative articles were subjected to the methodological quality review using the CRF-QS instrument. The majority of the literature showed that neuroticism is the personality dimension that contributes to the appearance of caregiver syndrome. On the other hand, there is no evidence that the extraversion dimension is a triggering factor for caregiver overload. While caregiver syndrome is not related to the appearance of personality disorders. Caregiver overload of people with intellectual disabilities is part of the risk factors for developing caregiver syndrome in addition to physical and psychological pathologies such as depression and anxiety.
