Summary:ABSTRACT According to the World Health Organization (WHO) every seven minutes a mother dies from hypertensive disease of pregnancy, every year 50,000 women die in the world from this cause. This bibliographic review entitled: Nursing interventions for patients with eclampsia, was prepared considering the activities carried out by nursing in each health unit; This problem can occur before, during and after pregnancy. Eclampsia is considered an obstetric emergency, manifested by new-onset tonic-clonic seizures and coma in a pregnant woman. Gradual weight gain in the third trimester represents the first sign to develop this pathology, tonic-clonic seizures are the warning signs that are usually self-limited main with a duration of 1 to 2 minutes causing severe hypoxia and neurological damage. The objective of the present study is to determine the nursing interventions in patients with eclampsia; For this, 100 bibliographic sources from different databases were reviewed and after applying inclusion and exclusion criteria, a sample of 60 bibliographic sources was obtained, of which 23 were used for the triangulation process. The main nursing crises were identified according to the coincidence of authors that were related to the North American Nursing Diagnosis Association (NANDA) Nursing Outcomes Classification (NOC) and Nursing Interventions Classification (NIC) taxonomy, among which neurological monitoring, fall prevention, precautions Against seizures, airway management.
