Sumario:INSOPLASTIC" is a company dedicated to the production of plastic objects through the processes of injection and blow molding, along with the design, construction and maintenance of molds for the injection and blowing of the mentioned material. The company has areas in which machinery develops certain processes such as: blowing area, injection area and tooling shop. The company "INSOPLASTIC" seeks to implement the "Management System for Prevention in Occupational Safety and Health" for which an initial diagnosis determined the risk factors and the possible effects that these could cause in the employees of the company, after the prior analysis, it was concluded that noise is the main risk; therefore, this problem was the objective of the present investigation. Demonstrate how the "SAMARI" system that control and combat the noise produced by the operation of plastic mills reduces the risks in the occupational health of the workers of the "INSOPLASTIC" Company. For the identification of risks especially noise, the three main areas of the company were monitored (blowing, injection and molding). It was determined that the areas of blowing and injection (production) were the zones with the highest exposure to noise. An analysis and determination of risks were carried out concluding that the mills are the source of pollution; through the observation, the analysis of the activities of workers through checklists, inspections and surveys, also a qualitative assessment of hazards and risks conducted to workers during a period of time, it was concluded that workers are exposed to noise exceeding the permissible limit, audiometric evaluations were performed. Finally, the study was documented and implemented the "SAMARI" system to control and mitigate the noise in the production area of the company "INSOPLASTIC" concluding that what was done minimized the health risks of the exposed workers.
