Summary:The research referred to corporate social responsibility in the construction of the corporate image in Distribuidora Cabrera Riobamba has the objective of designing a corporate social responsibility plan; the activities are appropriately focused on complying with the social, economic, and environmental axes and in this way be a reference for other companies in the locality. For the research development, it was necessary to use the hypothetical-deductive method; it was possible to know the causes that originate the problem from a general context to a particular one. The information was collected through the survey technique, which was applied to the distributor's employees. The results showed that the company does not conduct its internal activities in a responsible manner due to its lack of knowledge on the subject of responsibility. The results showed that the company does not direct its internal activities in a responsible manner due to its lack of knowledge on the subject of corporate social responsibility, which generates a risk of economic sustainability, on the other hand, the working environment does not present the necessary conditions for an efficient performance, in the environmental aspect it has not promoted an adequate treatment of the waste generated by the activity it develops, which prevents the distributor from obtaining a highly competitive position in the market, therefore it is concluded that the company must work orienting its activities in the fulfillment of the axes established by the social and environmental responsibility, and that the company has not promoted an adequate treatment of the waste generated by the activity it develops, which prevents the distributor from obtaining a highly competitive position in the market, the axes established by the social and corporate responsibility to achieve a better corporate image, so it is recommended to apply the plan designed for the company, which considers the company in which the reality of the distributor is considered.
