添加標簽 | 總結: | Economic growth and the environment: Implementation of the environmental Kuznets curve for the 1970-2015 period, Ecuador; it is a research that analyzes the behavior of economic growth measured by PIB per capita affects directly or indirectly to the environment as measured through CO2 as an indicator of environmental degradation through the implementation of the environmental Kuznets curve. In Ecuador since 1970, begins a massive exploitation of petroleum and natural resources, which gave a start of the accelerated economic growth, resulting in an increased environmental pollution. Through the reform of the constitution of the Republic in the year 2008, is implemented environmental policies, allowing the sustainable development in a harmonious relationship between man and nature. For the 2015 is located in the descending phase of the environmental Kuznets curve, where economic growth with the implementation of environmental policy generates a lower environmental pollution in recent years. The content of the research consists of four detailed chapters in the following way: Chapter I, is structured in the Introduction, problem statement and objectives: general and specific. Chapter II, consists of Theoretical Framework, where it develops theories of economic growth and the environment through concepts and indicators; subsequently the theoretical relationship using the hypothesis of the environmental Kuznets curve and finally develops the legal framework. Chapter III, develops the Methodological framework, by collecting the data and description of the variables of economic growth (GDP per capita) and the environment (CO2) in Ecuador and the results are interpreted with the implementation of the multiple linear econometric model. Chapter IV, of the Conclusions and recommendations which ends the investigation, in order to give greater prominence to the subsequent research. |
