| Sumari: | The incorporation of artificial intelligence (AI) in the internal communication of organizations is a growing phenomenon that has impacts in multiple dimensions. The objective of this research was to analyze the influence of AI on organizational culture, taking as a case study Ecuadorian companies during 2022. The perceptions and dynamics surrounding the implementation of chatbots, and decision support systems were explored using a qualitative-descriptive approach based on interviews and non-participant observation. Findings include: The ambiguous perception of efficiency versus dehumanization of internal communication processes, the transformation of collective norms and values and Changes in functional collaboration networks. This research thoroughly examines AI's impact on optimizing organizational communication, evaluating its effect on the efficiency and quality of the information transmitted. It offers a detailed analysis of the benefits and challenges of incorporating AI into these processes, highlighting the technology's potential to enhance efficiency, reduce errors, and reach a wider audience. This study not only provides a theoretical understanding but also a practical framework that can equip and guide other organizations in their digital transformation journey. Three interviews were conducted with communication, technology, and business experts whose knowledge and experiences provided a comprehensive view of AI's impact on organizational communication. |
