Diseño de una interfaz de usuario basada en principios de usabilidad para el sitio web del emprendimiento CECYS

The research aimed to design a user interface based on usability principles for the CECYS website, a business dedicated to the online sale of orchids and plants. The study sought to optimize navigation and improve interaction with a platform that previously showed deficiencies in structure, accessibility, and visual design. An applied and descriptive approach was used, supported by foundations of usability, user experience, and interface design, following the ISO 9241-11 standard. Through observation and heuristic analysis, navigation issues were identified and design requirements were defined. The project included a functional prototype based on usability criteria, information architecture, and visual coherence with the enterprise’s identity. Validation with users showed improvements in ease of use, content comprehension, and satisfaction during the shopping experience. In conclusion, applying usability principles in interface design optimizes digital interaction, strengthens online presence, and further enhances product commercialization.
