| Sumario: | The purpose of this research is to analyze the importance of recreation for the development of multiple intelligences in children in Early Education Sublevel 2, specifically at the Dr. Leonidas García Ortiz Basic Education School. This educational stage is fundamental for the comprehensive development of human beings because it establishes the cognitive, emotional, physical, and social foundations that will influence the child's future education. In the contemporary educational context, there is a recognized need to apply recreational strategies that allow students to actively participate in their learning process, since recreation plays an essential role in providing spaces and moments where children can learn freely, meaningfully, and voluntarily. Understood as a playful and enjoyable experience, recreation encourages activities that stimulate creativity, critical thinking, collaboration, language, and other skills linked to multiple intelligences. The research adopts a qualitative approach, which allowed us to observe and analyze how recreational activities influence the development of different intelligences, using an observation sheet as a tool during classroom activities. In addition, the study was complemented by a systematic literature review that theoretically grounded the concepts of recreation, child development, and multiple intelligences, demonstrating that the inclusion of recreational strategies in the classroom promotes comprehensive learning by addressing the diversity of children's abilities, interests, and ways of learning. |
