Sammanfattning:Abstract In the context of Engineering, Industry and Production, the research in question delves into the psychosocial challenges faced by the mechanical workers of the Guanta 56 association. The core of the study lies in identifying and quantifying these risk factors with the intention of designing a preventive plan to mitigate those that have the greatest impact on workers' health. To achieve this objective, two widely recognized methodologies were used. First, Prevention Technical Note 703, also known as the CoPsoQ-istas21 method, which is based on a detailed questionnaire of 109 items, obtaining results on aspects such as working and employment conditions, exposure to 20 risk factors and health conditions and job satisfaction. At the same time, the method proposed by the Ecuadorian Ministry of Labor MDT was applied, which, by means of 58 items, investigates 8 key risk factors. From the exhaustive evaluation of 26 mechanical workers, two dominant challenges emerged: the accelerated pace of work and the conflicts inherent in their roles. In response to these findings, a series of preventive measures were designed. These measures not only seek to minimize the risks identified, but also aim to consolidate effective risk management and foster a culture of continuous improvement, thus ensuring an optimal and sustainable work environment for the organization.
