Summary:This research project carries out a study on the Popular and Solidarity Economy and its incidence on the quality of life of the milk producers in the Cebadas town, Canton Guamote, Province of Chimborazo, the main purpose was to determine if the popular and solidarity economy Affects the quality of life of milk producers; The research, analyzed several social aspects such as: gender, age, marital status and level of education; And economic aspects such as: productive activity, monthly income, type of infrastructure, labor, daily production, price of milk, milking frequency, land available, improved pasture, production cost and maintenance; A questionnaire was used to know these indicators. The content details of four chapters: Chapter I, Referential Framework consists of: problem designation and formulation, general and specific objective, justification and importance of the research project. Chapter II, Theoretical Framework is structured by four units: with respect to business, popular economy and solidarity, stand out concepts, characteristics, classes, principles and theories; We then compared the theories of quality of life, antecedents, concepts, indicators, factors, characteristics, cultural context, income, happiness and methodology; And finally, the research, within the neoclassical model of economic growth, was carried out through the Cobb-Douglas production function model. Chapter III, Methodological Framework, describes the methodology of the research, and steps that were followed to reach the proposed objectives, where the processing, interpretation and discussion of the results achieved are carried out, through the econometric model. Chapter IV was completed by describing the conclusions and recommendations, based on the results of the research, and the results collected at the researching site.
