Estudio, diseño y simulación de una red ffth en el sector la estación del cantón Riobamba, para la empresa de telecomunicaciones Contigoec

The objective of this research project is to carry out the study, design and simulation of a FTTH (Fiber To The Home) network in the Sector La Estación of the city of Riobamba for the telecommunications company CONTIGOEC, this research is to study, design and simulate a FTTHG network to analyze its performance in the Station. For this purpose, a study of FTTH technology was carried out in order to understand its structure and operation. Subsequently, a market study and a study of the demand of the La Estación neighborhood were carried out. The information gathered made it possible to design the NG-PON2 network applied to FTTH networks. The study is based on the analysis of FTTH technology, its components and architecture. A design of the FTTH network for the La Estaciónla sector is carried out, which has a cascade architecture with 2 splitter levels and consists of three parts: Feeder Network, Distribution Network and Dispersion Network, considering the topology, equipment, infrastructure and costs. The simulation of the FTTH network is performed using Gns3 and OptiSystems software. Since the simulation results will show that the network meets the established performance and quality of service requirements.
