An applied reserch, of retrospective descriptive and traverse type was carried out, in 285 patients, descriptive statistics the analysis of frequencies, and to determine the demographic characteristics. The main complications observed were: miscarriage 41,4%, pre-terms childbirths 20,7%, urinary tract infections 16,14% and hypertensive disorders 8,42%. The patients that prevailed were from 19 to 24 years, of mestiza ethnic group, secondary school instruction, single status, and urban origin. Pregnancy in the adolescents frequently accompanied of complications that can range from abortion to death |

Se realizó una investigación aplicada, de tipo descriptiva, transversal retrospectivo, en 285 pacientes, y se emplearon estadísticas descriptivas para el análisis de frecuencias, además de determinar las características demográficas. Las principales complicaciones que se observaron fueron: aborto 41,4%, partos pre-términos 20,7%, infección de vías urinarias 16,14% y trastornos hipertensivos 8,42%. Predominaron las pacientes con rango de edad entre los 19 a los 24 años, la etnia mestiza, grado de instrucción secundaria, estado civil: solteras, y procedencia urbana.
