| Sažetak: | The performing arts allow students to express their inner world, experiment with new ways of thinking, release mental and emotional tensions, and acquire self-esteem, personal identity, and autonomy while helping to develop motor skills. Meanwhile, the development of a script is a tool that combines art with learning to promote the integral development of students, promoting their intelligence and creativity. This research aimed to determine the importance of the theatrical script for the promotion of performing arts in first-semester students of the Pedagogy of Arts and Humanities career. To this end, a mixed approach was worked on, with field research and descriptive and documentary bibliographic research, where data were obtained through interviews with teachers, surveys, and observation sheets with students. The results positively impacted the importance of using the theatrical script not only as an artistic medium but also as a pedagogical resource that fosters creativity, expression, and collaboration. Through obtaining the results, three theatrical scripts were developed and elaborated by three groups of fourteen students, finally reaching the conclusion that active learning and interaction between students were promoted through the development of the theatrical script. |
