Estudio de factibilidad para la implementación de una planta procesadora de yogurt en el cantón La maná provincia de Cotopaxi

This research refers to a feasibility study for the implementation of an arazá yogurt processing plant in the canton La Maná, Cotopaxi province. As a first action, an analysis of the population was carried out to determine tastes and preferences, the technique used were surveys and yogurt tasting, where it is determined that the product has a favorable impact on this research, with the result that 36.19% of the total population agrees to consume and pay for acquiring the arazá yogurt in the presentation of 1 liter, with a projected annual sales volume of 100,065 bottles/year. In the technical study, a plant design is elaborated defining the facilities, production processes and machinery suitable for the production of the product. Then, in the administrative study, a manual of functions and procedures are developed, which informs the personnel of the responsibilities to be taken into account before working in the facilities. The daily production capacity of yogurt is 379 liters, finally, in the financial study the different results are obtained: the total investment to start the project is $74725.68, the NPV=44540.28, the IRR=48.42%, the TMAR= 22.32%, the recovery period is 2 years with 9 months, the Cost/Benefit=1.24 that is to say that, for every dollar invested in the project, 0.24 cents of a dollar will be recovered, as a final conclusion it can be mentioned that this project is feasible.
