Özet:Over time, without a doubt, technological advance has brought institutions or companies to adapt and transform their manual processes into automated processes; it was the case of the cemetery of the Decentralized Autonomous Government of the Guano canton; it carried out a manual process that produced inefficiency for the municipality, a decrease in the effectiveness of the service, an increase in the cost of resources in the purchase of office supplies for the registration of information. The objective of the present research was to implement the information management web system for the Guano GAD cemetery using Framework CodeIgniter; the investigation was of a quasi-experimental type, and the Scrum Methodology was used for the development of the system. Framework CodeIgniter contributed significantly to the development of Web applications, being very intuitive for the developer; with its MVC structure, it allowed to separate the components from obtaining an efficient performance when making HTTP requests that pass through a security filter prior to obtaining one or more responses in less time, interacting with the controller model and through functions or methods to select the view of the controller. The Web application's performance was evaluated using the FURPS quality model, where it was shown that the application complies with the performance parameters by obtaining 100% efficiency in the execution of requests, a response time of 2.73 seconds, and 20.05% in the use of resources.
