Análisis del tratamiento informativo realizado por el telégrafo y expreso de Ecuador sobre la detención de Julian Assange periodo abril-septiembre 2019

This research is intended to analyze the informative treatment on the detention of Julian Assange by the El Telégrafo (Quito) and Expreso (Guayaquil), newspapers, from April to September 2019. The support of thus research was complemented by the theoretical framework using basic concepts such as: Communication, media, information treatment, Julian Assange, among others; communication theories to support research is the functionalism. For the methodology the qualitative and quantitative method were used since it was necessary to know a structured model the observation of the contest that the newspapers have published with the data previously where the result is: in the digital editions the majority were informative notes with location opening, about five elements of graphic and visual help in each content, and the existence of hyperlinks, in addition, interviews with two journalists of the newspapers who agredd with the interviews one of the questions asked to the experts was the treatment that the two media did at the time of creating the content, who claimed that they always took the different versions both what happened in Britain, USA, and Ecuador, looking for material that is relevant to the country. Finally, this research, which was also scientific, descriptive, historical-logical and analytical with the results achieved, proposes the development of a scientific article on the subject of research and send it to scientific journal ranked in Scopus
