Sumario:The present research work, arises from the limitation of the use of children stimulation techniques of the second year of basic education of the rural school “Ambrosio Noriega”. To reach the conclusions and recommendations we study the problem description, general and specific objective. In the analysis of the theoretical framework, we emphasize the study variables: stimulation techniques and the development of reading macro – skills. In relation to the methodological framework, we used different methods such as thee scientific and logical methods: inductive, deductive, analytical and synthetic, it is evidenced during its development. The design was non-experimental because we refer to the phenomenon investigated and of field because we have to go to the place of the scene. The technique used was direct observation which it is a qualitative approach; and the instrument or observation guide. The problems found were that teachers have limitations in the stimulation of learning which results in the macro-skills process of reading.
