Yhteenveto:The purpose of this research project was to analyze the facial biotype of adults according to Bjork-Jarabak by organizing them through their ethnicity such as indigenous or mixed. The purpose was to discover if there are significant differences between them. It is of the utmost importance to know the facial biotype to establish a good diagnosis and a good treatment plan since it relates to several problems that we find in patients. A descriptive, inductive, and analytical study was conducted with 80 adult cephalometries, 40 indigenous people and 40 people of mixed ethnicity. X-rays in poor conditions, patients who have had or currently have orthodontic treatment, patients who do not have all permanent dental parts were excluded though. It should be emphasized that the cephalometries of the patients were called indigenous or mixed-breed. It allowed obtaining more accurate results on research. It was shown that there is no significant difference between the two ethnic groups studied as the predominant biotype was mesofacial in both indigenous and mixed people.
