סיכום:This investigative work was made in the Educative United “Amelia Gallegos Diaz” from Riobamba city during the 2017-2018 school year, thirty students from the Second “B“ from Unified General High School thirteen men and seventeen women were participated. Its proposal was establish the relationship between personality and social skills level, for this, it was necessary know the personality features and the social skill level. Also, the study variables were based on conceptualizations contributed by different authors, through an extensive bibliographic review and the results obtained in the work field. Methodologieally it’s about a non-experimental investigation of design; because there was no continuity in the time axis, the level is descriptive and cross sectional correlation, it was developed in a specific period, that was from March to July of 2017 and the instruments were applied only once, the sample was intentíonally non-probabilistic because the units of analysis were selected, the techniques used were psychometric tests, with their respective instrument, Cattell's 16PF Personality Test and Social Skills Scale by Gismero Gonzales; after the analysis and interpretation of results were carried out, they determined that they are at a low level in the Social Skills Scale, relating to the 16PF, this group shows the following personality characteristics; extraversion, hardness, independence and self-control. It concludes that personality features can be a very important factor in the social skill level.
