Streszczenie: | The present research was carried out in the EARLY EDUCATION CENTER “EUREKA KIDS” in Riobamba city. The main objective was to contribute to the development of fine motor skills in 4-year-old children through the Montessori Methodology in applying activities at home during the confinement due to the pandemic caused by COVID-19. It was based on investigative references, taking into account the information collected from reliable bibliographic documents, such as books, articles, essays, magazines, newspapers, and others, having a descriptive research level. The methodology used is a hybrid non-experimental approach involving the analysis and collection of qualitative and quantitative data. It has a non-experimental design since there was no variable manipulation, as in this documentary research. The observation was applied as a technique, and the observation sheet, as an instrument, was applied based on the objectives set out, where ten indicators were used to relate the variables studied. The population was nine children of Initial II of the Early Education Center “Eureka Kids,” obtaining that the pandemic and virtuality have brought with those problems in the correct development of fine motor skills in infants, and thanks to the use of the Montessori Methodology. It has been possible to improve fine motor skills during the pandemic |
