Ամփոփում:This research is mainly based on the effectiveness of Early Stimulation (ES) in children with Down Syndrome (DS) whose age goes from 0 months to 5 years old. Additionally, it includes a bibliographic analysis of studies such as: book-records, scientific articles, theses, among others. The gathered information points out the impact and importance through time. Thus, the obtained results conclude that ES is a great help for the psychomotor delay which is presented in children with DS. The method applied in bibliographic research was the scientific method; since the information stems from several bibliographic sources with scientific support (Scielo, Google Scholar, Dialnet, Elsiever and Pubmed) the first approach is qualitative as each infant with DS has different characteristics. The second one is quantitative because of the amount of information such as ages, the number of children with DS in which the ES was applied. The selected population is the result of 57 records, under inclusion and exclusion criteria. The search strategies and the quality of assessment was done according to the scale of PEDro, obtaining the sample of 35 records. They refer to children with DS. The method must show a level of effectiveness while applying the ES on patients. Despite of the different records show that there is not cither a dosed stimulation exercises program or protocol for the studies population, there is significant and effective progress in children´s development with DS.
