الملخص:The objective of this research project is to determine interculturality and its impact on the academic training of children in the 5th year of the Educational Unit "Monseñor Leonidas Proaño", Theoretically two study variables were established, such as interculturality that is based on respect for diversity, integration and growth equally of cultures, is not free to generate possible conflicts, and academic training the same that was developed in an environment, is a specific place where learning conditions exist and develop methodologically, the design of the research was non-experimental, referring to the types is field because it was carried out in the place of the facts, bibliographic since it was helpful to help the bibliographic and cross-sectional sources when carried out in an established time, with a level of research , descriptive since it allowed to know the characteristics of the variables, correlation when establishing the relationship between them and explanatory, I allow to analyze the variables from a social field, with an inductive - deductive method logical reasoning strategies were used, working with the entire population with the 19 students of 5th year of Basic Education, as a technique that observation was used with its instrument the observation sheet, with whose data I can perform the analysis and interpretation to reach the conclusion that it is important for students to know and preserve their cultural identity strengthening one's identity respecting opinions, cultures and religion, among others; also to comply with its principles of equity and solidarity
