| סיכום: | The research work is called “Literary Skills in the Creative Writing of Upper Basic Students,” its general objective is to determine how literary skills help in the creative writing of upper-basic students. This research has a quantitative approach; the project design was a non-experimental study since the variables were not altered on any occasion. It was also Field research since it was applied in the school, indexed journals were used to support the information, the level was descriptive, since the two variables are detailed in the work. As the study is focused on the development of knowledge, it was basic. In addition, the data were obtained through the survey instrument and questionnaire technique applied only once to 9 students of the tenth year of “Leonardo da Vinci” school, the same ones that served for the analysis and interpretation of results. Likewise, the predominant competency identified is reading, an essential activity for human beings since it allows the brain to be exercised and interact with authors and characters from different works in which they are immersed. On the other hand, text comprehension helps absorb a variety of information, which can be helpful in the life. It is also concluded that creative writing encourages the student since in it, they can express feelings, emotions, and thoughts, which will give life to their imagination to create texts of their authorship. Finally, teachers and students are recommended to carry out activities or workshops to develop literary skills and creative writing. |
