Add Tag | Summary: | Communication skills are the set of characteristics that allow adequate language management, being essential because they allow the effective transmission of thoughts and emotions. For this reason, the objective of this work was to describe the communication skills in the teaching process of the students of the Language and Literature Pedagogy Program at the National University of Chimborazo. Methodologically, this research has a quantitative approach, descriptive scope, non-experimental and transversal design, due to the field location, with a non-experimental study and a population of 224 students, having as a sample of 55 students from the Pedagogy Degree of the Language and Literature. The psychometric test with its instrument “Communication Skills Questionnaire (CSQ)” was used as a data collection technique. Thus describing that, the participating students have a high level of communication skills in the learning process; as well as in the family environment, close friends, close people and acquaintances. While, they present an average level in communication areas with authority figures and strangers. Therefore, they do not have a low level of communication skills in any area. |
