Description
Summary:This research aimed to determine the incidence of BanEcuador productive development credits in the economic reactivation of SMEs in the textile sector in Riobamba-Ecuador. The study population and sample consisted of 385 local textile industry sector members. The technique used for data collection was the survey, which was made up of a 14-item questionnaire that included the two variables. The variable credits from productive development were made up of 7 items and the variable economic reactivation of SMEs, which responded to the dimensions and categories established for the study, with a quantitative approach of a non-experimental design. For testing the hypothesis, the normality of the variables was determined by the Kolmogórov-Smirnov test, obtaining that both variables do not follow a normal distribution. The chi-square test resulted in an association between the variables (p <0.05). When the reliability analysis was performed, Cronbach's Alpha averaged a value of 0.935, which qualified as excellent for the reliability of this applied instrument. The results show that SMEs request loans for productive development to use in their working capital. It is concluded that regardless of the crisis that the pandemic caused by COVID 19 has generated in companies in the textile sector, there is the ability to create flexible and simplified solutions to address the financing needs of BanEcuador through loans for productive development such as a way to reactivate the economy in SMEs in the textile sector.
