Description
Summary:Education currently faces several challenges, including limited accessibility, inadequate infrastructure, scarce economic resources, insufficient technical support, and, most notably, the lack of training in the effective use of technology, particularly in relation to interactive tools. This research emerges from a specific issue—the absence and limited implementation of various interactive tools, as well as the lack of understanding, confidence, motivation, and knowledge among students. To address this, Microsoft Sway and Cerebriti Edu were proposed as interactive, innovative, viable, and feasible tools to enhance the learning of Physical Chemistry for fifth-semester students in the Pedagogy of Experimental Sciences program, specializing in Chemistry and Biology at the National University of Chimborazo. The study employed a non-experimental research design, as the variables were not manipulated. The research was basic in nature and descriptive in scope, aiming to emphasize the significance of these tools. Data collection was conducted with a population of 31 students officially enrolled in the semester, using a structured survey comprising ten questions evaluated through a Likert scale. The findings suggest that the implementation of interactive tools, alongside the didactic guide “Explore and Learn,” will assist students in comprehending the subject’s syllabus, particularly in topics such as Gases and their Laws, and Electricity and Magnetism. In conclusion, it is recommended to integrate these tools to offer a more enriched and engaging learning experience, characterized by direct interaction with the activities developed in the guide.
