| Summary: | ABSTRACT: The present work to fulfill with the objetive of collecting information about the determination of blood incompatibility by means of the indirect Coombs test in pregnant women in scientific publications. Within a qualitative analysis with a non-experimental desing, croos-sectional cohort and an exploratory research. It has been made a biographical documentary research examining the literature in the different scientific databases, with a population corresponding to 165 scientific publications, taking in consideration the inclusión and exclusión estableshing. The information was obteined by readyng articles and books for a correct investigation. The result that were evidenced understand that the indirect coombs test, it is esencial because recongnizing the antibodies present in blood incompatibility, however, if there is incompatibility the reasons are, abortion, natural births, bleeding, prenatal or transplacental, blood transfusión, hematopoietic cell transplant, manual birth, caesarean birth, drug addiction, multiple pregnancy, maternal problems, that involve the pregnancy and the consequence is the intra-uterine fetal death, but it is common in the ABO and Rh groups and these are the main responsible of the incompatibility, for this reason the indirect coombs test represent an appropriate process to identify the blood incompatibility that there is during in the gestation, as long the professional has the sufficient capacity to a correct interpretation Key words: Blood Incompatibility, ABO and Rh group, indirect Coombs, pregnancy. |
