| סיכום: | The research project consisted of applying the Bowen Technique (massage), reducing pain in patients with pure cervicalgia who went to the Andean Hospital; it was carried out in 20 patients with this pathology to whom physiotherapeutic clinical histories were applied to obtain the necessary general data for the statistical process. To identify the initial and final painful state, the visual analogue scale (VAS) was used. Line of 10 cm representing the pain range perceived by the patient, the Bowen Technique (massage) was used with a dosage of 1 time a day for 30 to 45 minutes for 10 sessions. The analysis of results was obtained by means of the statistical study of the data obtained through physiotherapeutic clinical history and the visual analogue scale (VAS). It was possible to identify that the predominant gender of the patients is female, this may be due to work activities such as secretaries, cashiers, housewives, merchants leading them to have a routine and stressful lifestyle. In the verification of the results of the visual analogue scale (EVA) of the initial and final pain, it was possible to demonstrate at the end of the treatment 60% came to have a state of no pain, 30% came to have a mild pain with a score of 1 to 3, while 10% obtained moderate pain with a score of 4 to 6, demonstrating their efficiency. |
