সংক্ষিপ্ত:Fine motor skills are one of the very important skills that an infant must develop, since this is crucial to develop throughout their life, these skills, in addition to being accessible, achieve adequate development in children. This research project was carried out at the Princeton Educational Unit in the city of Riobamba, province of Chimborazo. The general objective was to determine the punching technique for the development of fine motor skills in children aged 4 to 5 years. The starting point was the search for documents on the website such as: books, articles, bibliographic repositories for the study of the descriptive level. The research approach is qualitative because it allowed us to analyze the population, which consisted of 15 children who belong to the initial level II since it was not extensive. For data collection, the observation technique was used through the observation sheet instrument. The results obtained allowed their tabulation, analysis and interpretation to determine the respective conclusions and recommendations. Finally, it is important to mention that recreational activities are proposed that help the use of the technique because it develops fine motor skills, visual-motor coordination, manual skill through cuts with the fingers, the movement of the digital clamp and creativity.
