| Achoimre: | ABSTRACT: The intangible cultural heritage corresponds to different expressions and cultural manifestations such as customs, traditions, religious events, music, evidencing a lack of progress and limited tourist development, so its main objective is to determine how the intangible cultural heritage influences development tourist in the Tixán Parish, Alausí Canton of the Province of Chimborazo. With the methodology used of a qualitative research type, with field research, documentary research, with a descriptive design, with a sample of 371 participants, the information gathering instruments were a survey according to the dependent variables such as intangible cultural heritage and independent development. Tourism under the Likert scale in which a correct quantification and tabulation of the data was obtained using the SPSS program, contributing to the analytical process of the investigation. According to the results obtained, it was evident that 37.5% strongly agree that oral expressions, myths, legends, beliefs, songs, prayers, among others, are a tourist potential to develop cultural projects in the Tixán Parish. Likewise, it is evident that in great agreement with 38.5% they consider that the population of the Tixán parish supports the tourist development of the area. The investigation concludes that, by identifying the intangible cultural heritage as an element of development in tourism, efforts were made to preserve its recognition and identity. With this, it was possible to identify the exchange of knowledge, values, techniques and good practices to promote responsible tourism, providing real information to educate tourists, so that the inhabitants feel proud of their identity through a culture of respect and protection of the environment. existing intangible cultural heritage. |
