| Özet: | The research project provided information on physiotherapeutic palliative care in oncology patients. This research was conducted by analyzing 35 scientific articles collected from academic and scientific journals, including clinical trials, reports of studies on multiple patients, and the experiences of healthcare personnel. These articles evaluated different treatments used for oncological rehabilitation. The hope of extending the lifespan of people with cancer underscores the need for palliative care. Therefore, it is crucial to highlight the physiotherapist's intervention as part of the multidisciplinary team for the care and recovery of oncological and palliative patients. The main objective of this literature review is to investigate and understand how physiotherapists can intervene in treating these patients, identifying the benefits and possible contraindications in their application. Finally, the results obtained from the analysis of the different articles consistently demonstrate the efficiency and effectiveness of the proposed trials in improving the quality of life of oncological and palliative patients. These physiotherapeutic interventions have proven to be effective in reducing pain, fatigue, depression, loss of mobility, loss of muscle mass, and anxiety. It is important to note that each patient is unique and reacts individually to their recovery or treatment. Therefore, it is crucial to tailor interventions to each patient's specific needs, recognizing differences in individual responses. |
