Resumo:This investigation research was carried out at Unidad Educativa "Combatientes de Tapi" located Riobamba city, Chimborazo province, the study was conducted to establish a strategy to strengthen the gross motor area of children in such this way, it could be observed through an observation sheet that there are deficiencies in first-grade children such as inadequate coordination, balance, laterality, notions of time and space. It could be improved by applying Ring Around the Rosie of child chasing since it plays a fundamental role in the child's motor development, allowing the stimulation and exercise of the thick parts of the body, which help to develop social relationships, abilities, skills, behavior habits, thus enhancing self-confidence, security, and self-esteem in the realization of recreational activities. Through the realization and application of the guide, it was possible to verify that the Ring Around the Rosie improve the development of gross motor skills of children from 5 to 6 years old, allowing a better development in their environment, creating communication, dialogue and affection among their peers. The main feature is the game where children participate and integrate, making movements, gestures, and expressions in such a way that it provides a real opportunity to learn while playing.
