| Резюме: | This research named “Recreation as a mechanism for habit formation in Sublevel 1 of the Educational Unit ‘Once de Noviembre’, Riobamba canton”, was focused on recreational activities as an important tool for habit formation in children from an early age, the research supports the general objective of promoting recreation as a mechanism for habit formation in Sublevel 1. This methodology was focused on a qualitative study, since it is based on exploring and examining phenomena, in addition, we used a non-experimental design that allows investigating the importance of recreational activities in the cultivation of healthy habits in children without manipulating the variables. For this purpose, we used a bibliographic, cross-sectional, descriptive and field research, using observation and an observation form as a technique and instrument to subsequently collect data about the importance of recreation for the formation of habits in children of the institution. The instruments provided valuable information on the implementation of recreational activities as a methodological strategy in the teaching-learning process. We realized that the teacher lacks knowledge about recreational activities for learning sessions, considering that, through these activities, children understand values, norms and routines in a natural and fun way, creating a significant learning for their lives, so it is important to provide teachers with tools and resources to positively implement recreational activities in the classroom |
