Summary:The objective of the present work is to pose the prediction of the mesiodistal wide of the dental pieces 3, 4, 5 in students of the dental career at UNACH to determine the effectiveness of the Moyers’ analysis. A total of 57 study models were used between men and women. The mesiodistal width of the lower incisor teeth, canines and premolars were measure and real values were obtained from the superior and inferior canine – premolar segment. Materials and methods: For the measurement of the study models, a compass with a dry tip, a pencil and a milimiter ruler were used. In the summation of the lower incisor teeth, the predictive values of the canine – premolar segment were obtained in the different levels of the probability of the table of Moyers and then it was compared with the collected data. Results: In the right upper jaw the significance value is 0,074 and in the upper left jaw it is 0,430 so they approach the 75% percentile of the Moyers scale, it is accepted Hi. 0,038. For the right mandibular and a value of 0.031 for the mandibular, so that there is a difference between the values of the Moyers percentile at 75% with the real values so that H0 is accepted. Conclusions: There are no statiscally significant differences between the predicted values and the actual values of the mesiodistal diameter of maxillary and mandibular canines and premolars so that the Moyers tables in the 75% percentile can be used and applied in our population.
