ABSTRACT: Almacenes León is required to maintain an effective and efficient accounting process, since when complying with all its phases the final information must be truthfully exposed, for this the personnel must execute, supervise, record and evaluate all the transactions or movements that the company generates in the accounting cycle. This information will help this investigation to fulfill its main objective; which is to carry out an evaluation to the accounting process of the Almacenes León, to know the decision making in the management of the financial resources of the year 2017. The applied methodology was deductive because it allowed to analyze the correlation between the variables and deduce logical conclusions to later elaborate a hypothesis for their respective verifications, the type of investigation was field-based because it was carried out in the facilities of the León Warehouse and documentary because it was revised the source documents, accounting records and all the balances generated during the accounting process. In addition to that, the research design was non-experimental with a descriptive level. Finally, as a result, it was obtained that the evaluation of the accounting process does influence the decision-making for the management of the warehouse's financial resources.
