要約:Mental health is a state of well-being in which a person enjoys their abilities and faces problems; however, this condition is affected by drug use. Among them is tobacco. Currently, tobacco consumption is considered by the World Health Organization as an epidemic, as it causes millions of deaths per year. In addition, the electronic cigarette was recently launched on the market as an alternative to traditional tobacco; when it is used, it absorbs substances similar to smoking. Its consumption causes different diseases in both physical and mental health. The psychological alterations caused by nicotine consumption are evident in the cognitive area, such as attention. In the emotional aspect, it is causing anxiety and depression with greater prevalence. In addition, it causes behavioral changes, highlighting imperative and impulsive behaviors.
