| Riassunto: | The objective of this research was to determine literacy levels and causes of dysgraphia in third year students of Basic General Education of the Pedro Vicente Maldonado Educational Unit; the independent study variable Dysgraphia, is a writing disorder that affects the form or meaning and is functional, it occurred in children with normal intellectual capacity with adequate environmental stimulation and without intense neurological, sensory, motor or affective disorders , the dependent study variable Literacy, is the ability to read and write; however, within the educational context, this considered a learning process, to which teachers will place greater emphasis, during the initial stage of education, assigning children various tasks that involve literacy activities; the methodology used has a quantitative approach with a non-experimental design, the type of research by level or scope is correlational, by the place it is the field and the type of study is transectional or cross-sectional, the population studied were the students of the Unit Educational “Pedro Vicente Maldonado”, with a sample of a total of 90 students, including 55 men and 35 women. The instruments used for data collection were the Tale Test, which consists of 3 levels that are reading, writing, reading comprehension and assesses what the child handles in the field of reading and writing, an observation sheet to identify the causes that generate dysgraphia in students when reading or writing; in addition to other resources such as the IBM SPSS statistics 21 program for data analysis, as a result of the research, it was found that there is a significant correlation of .394 between the variables of literacy and dysgraphia. |
