Las danzas tradicionales como estrategias didácticas para rescatar la identidad cultural

The main objective of this research study entitle “Las danzas tradicionales como estrategias didácticas para rescatar la identidad cultural”, responds to a qualitative research approach of quasi-experimental type, developed with a dance group of the canton Cascales in the province of Sucumbíos, Ecuador. The objective was to implement a didactic strategy to contribute to the rescue of cultural identity through the traditional dances of the indigenous nationalities in the Cascales canton of the province of Sucumbíos. In order to achieve this objective, theoretical and empirical methods were applied. With respect to the empirical methods, the survey was applied, which allowed confirming the results, the theoretical methods were expressed in analysis, synthesis, deduction, induction. The bibliographic review provided the necessary elements for the reaffirmation of dance as an effective didactic strategy, in the same way, the empirical techniques and methods facilitated the evaluation of the strategy implemented as effective, since it favored the level of knowledge about the cultural identity of the canton, of the members of the group and in turn of the spectators. It was demonstrated in practice that the didactic strategy implemented, based on traditional dances, contributed to the rescue of cultural identity in the Cascales canton of the province of Sucumbíos.
